How theDBot LLC collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use tradingprogress.com.
Effective date: 27 September 2026
The short version
- Reports you upload without an account are read in your own browser and stay there. We only store report data on our servers when you sign in and choose to save it.
- Psychology, money-management, and other insights are generated automatically by pattern analysis of the trade data in your reports — not by a person reviewing your trading, and not by any access to your broker account.
- We never ask for broker passwords, and we cannot place or change trades for you.
- We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
- Questions or requests? Email support@signaltradingbots.com — we’re happy to explain anything in more detail.
1. Who we are
tradingprogress.com (“TradingProgress”, “we”, “us”) is operated by theDBot LLC, head office 1207 Delaware Ave #2685, Wilmington, DE 19806, United States, with a technical hub in Pelawatte, Western Province, Sri Lanka.
theDBot LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account: your email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider — we never see it in plain text), display name, and the profile details you provide at sign-up, such as country, gender, and date of birth.
Trading reports and trading data. When you save an uploaded report (for example, an MT5 or TradeLocker export) to your account, we store the data extracted from it. Depending on your broker, this can include: your trading account number, the account-holder name and broker name shown on the report, account currency, balances, and your trade history (instruments, times, sizes, prices, stop-loss and take-profit levels, profit and loss).
Journal entries. Notes, tags (such as emotion or mistake tags), and other details you add to your trading journal.
Learning data. Trading School progress, quiz answers and scores, badges, and the market tracks you choose.
Community content. Messages you post in Traders Chat, and reports or blocks you submit about other users.
Messages to us. What you send through the contact form or by email.
Usage data. When you visit the site we record the page visited, a random session identifier, the referring page, your browser’s user-agent string, the time of the visit, and — if you are signed in — your account ID. We use this to understand how the Service is used and to keep it secure.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for or store your broker login passwords, we have no access to your trading account, and we cannot place, modify, or close trades. We do not currently process payment card details.
3. How insights are generated from your reports
Analytics and insights on TradingProgress — including psychology, discipline, money management, risk, consistency, and “weak area” insights — are produced automatically, by pattern analysis of the trade data in the reports you upload, together with any journal notes or tags you choose to add yourself.
For example, our software looks for patterns such as:
- how your results vary by day of the week or time of day;
- how often you trade, and whether activity spikes after losses or on busy days;
- position sizes relative to your account and to your other trades;
- whether trades have stop-losses, and how wins and losses compare in size.
Please note:
- Insights are generated by software. No one at TradingProgress manually reviews your individual reports to produce them.
- They describe patterns in your trading data only. They are not a psychological, medical, or clinical assessment of you, and they are not financial advice.
- They are not used to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
- They can be inaccurate or incomplete, depending on the data in your report.
- You can delete saved reports and your account at any time, which removes the insights derived from them.
If you would like further information about how a particular insight is calculated, just email us at support@signaltradingbots.com.
4. Uploads without an account
If you upload a report without signing in, it is read and analysed inside your web browser and kept in your browser’s local storage. It is not sent to our servers. If you later sign in and choose to save it, the extracted data is then stored in your account as described above. Clearing your browser data removes guest reports from your device.
5. How we use your information
- To provide the Service: accounts, analytics, insights, the journal, the Trading School, badges, and community features.
- To save your progress and settings across devices.
- To respond to your messages and provide support.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it — using aggregated or de-identified information wherever possible.
- To send service-related messages, such as account emails and notices about changes to our Terms, this policy, or pricing.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your trading data for third-party advertising.
6. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)
- Contract — to provide the Service you ask for, including analysing reports you upload.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure, understand usage, and improve it, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — where required, for example for optional communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with the law.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States and have a technical hub in Sri Lanka, and our service providers may process data in other countries. When personal data is transferred outside your country — including from the EEA or UK — we take steps to protect it, such as using providers that offer appropriate contractual safeguards.
9. How long we keep data
- Account and profile data: while your account is open.
- Saved reports, trading data, journal entries, and learning data: until you delete them or close your account.
- Community messages: while they remain part of the conversation, unless they are removed on request or for breaching our Terms.
- Usage data and messages to us: only as long as needed for the purposes above, after which we delete or anonymise them.
- When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep some information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data, or close your account;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
To make a request, email support@signaltradingbots.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
12. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls that limit each user to their own data, and restricted administrative access. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly at support@signaltradingbots.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
13. Children
The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Future paid plans
The Service is currently free. As described in our Terms, we plan to introduce fair, paid plans for professional or high-volume use (for example, more than one trading account) after an introductory period, while beginner use stays free.
- To determine which plan applies, we may use information about how you use the Service — for example, the number of trading accounts or reports in your account.
- If you choose a paid plan, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor. We will not store full card details, and we will update this policy to describe any additional data involved before paid plans launch.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, where changes are material, make reasonable efforts to notify you — for example, on the website or by email.
